About us
North Harbour Real Estate is a long established boutique real estate agency, selling and managing property in the Sydney Northern Beaches area for over 30 years.
NHRE commenced business as Gaynor Auld Dickman. In 1977 current principal Sandra Good commenced employment on the reception. In 1981 Ian Derrin purchased the business and changed the name to Derrin Brothers. Sandra remained on and in 2003 became a part owner at Ian’s request. In 2005 Ian Derrin retired from the business and Sandra with husband Peter took full control of the business and changed the name to North Harbour Real Estate to reflect the scope of our customers. Over this entire period the business remained an independent agency.
Today Sandra and the team at NHRE take pride in our professionalism and integrity.
Our decision to remain independent ensures that our recommendations and decisions, made in consultation with our client, about selling or property management can be tailored to ensure the best results for each client’s unique circumstances. Because we are not constrained by large franchise companies we are not dictated to on how a property must be marketed, advertised or sold.
Our prominent office position and window display at the corner of Sydney Road and Condamine Street in Balgowlah (near Manly) is one of our great assets. Cars stop every minute at the traffic lights and with our huge poster display; we attract a lot of interest from prospective buyers.
We know the area well as we live locally and are extremely familiar with prices and properties in the area.
Our office works as a team and our sales team know and work on all properties listed for sales or auction we are happy to guarantee service.
We are members of the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales and regularly attend seminars and complete training to ensure we are kept up to date with any changes in legislation or Real Estate Practice.
